Rental Terms
These rental terms are a courtesy translation of the legally binding German version. In case of any discrepancy, the German version shall prevail.
I. Contract Formation
A legally binding rental contract is concluded between the tenant and the landlord. The contract comes into effect once the landlord has confirmed the booking enquiry. Enquiries may be submitted electronically (exclusively via the landlord's website booking form or official booking portals), by telephone, or via the Bergen tourist information office.
II. Right of Withdrawal
For contracts for accommodation for purposes other than as a permanent residence (accommodation contracts) concluded for a specific period, the statutory right of withdrawal is excluded in accordance with § 312g(2) No. 9 BGB (German Civil Code).
III. Rental Period, Arrival & Departure
The minimum rental period is 3 nights. Arrival is from 15:00 and no later than 22:00; departure is by 10:00. Deviations require separate agreement.
IV. Prices
The prices published on the Prices page at the time of contract conclusion apply. See the Prices page for all surcharges and discounts.
V. Payment
A deposit of 30% of the total price is due immediately after contract conclusion, payable within 7 days. The balance is due no later than 30 days before arrival. For bookings within 30 days of arrival, the full amount is due immediately.
VI. Cancellation
Cancellations must be made in text form (e.g. by email). The following cancellation fees apply:
- Until 28 days before arrival: 50% of total rent
- Until 14 days before arrival: 60% of total rent
- Until 7 days before arrival: 70% of total rent
- Less than 7 days before arrival: 100% of total rent
VII. Tenant Obligations
The tenant agrees to keep the apartment clean, handle furnishings with care, and leave the property broom-clean on departure. Smoking is only permitted on the balcony. No pets allowed. Electric vehicles may not be charged at the property's sockets.
VIII. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These rental terms are governed by German law. The place of jurisdiction is Traunstein, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
